Initial Duties and Responsibilities: Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements of designs or applications Develop work plans, track project status, and execute multiple projects simultaneously Through analysis, provide insight into failure modes and possible solutions Complete strength and fatigue analysis of all design proposals to ensure that products meet established design requirements Application of principles of Structural/Solid Mechanics, Statics, Structural Dynamics, Strength of Materials, and Fatigue/Durability Develop and implement operating standards and procedures to eliminate redundant and obsolete data and improve product quality and department efficiency utilizing Lean Manufacturing concepts Work with Manufacturing and Quality personnel on process and product t quality improvements | ||||
